Strange booming noises in my neighborhood

Okay guys... I don't know what these sounds are really supposed to be but I've heard them outside my house and they went on for 2 hours straight! (8:00pm - 10:00pm) I just want you guys to actually know that they are not fireworks or thunder. (There wasn't even a flash in the sky) I really normally don't mind any kind of noise, but since they went on for 2 hours I just had to start recording for at least 7 minutes.

Also I heard the sound of the police and I bet they must be investigating the sounds... Whatever they are supposed to be, I surely hope I don't hear them again... Especially if they go on for another 2 hours....
